Programs & Enrollment

Kaplan College Preparatory School programs are designed to meet individual student needs and goals. Before enrolling in any courses, you must first apply to be a KCPS student. Once you've been accepted, a KCPS Admissions Advisor will be assigned to answer your questions and facilitate your enrollment process.

Students may take one to seven KCPS courses at a time, including core curriculum, honors, and advanced placement (AP) courses. Using previous transcripts, test scores and recommendations, an Admissions Advisor will work with you to ensure you are placed in the appropriate course(s).

Diploma-Seeking Students (Full-Time)

Full-time students working toward a KCPS diploma typically take five or six courses per year. Full-time programs include college-preparatory level curriculum, teaching support by assigned, certified Instructors staff, academic coaching (to make sure you stay on track), and college counseling.

Students can start classes at anytime throughout the year. The full-time program aims to provide an elite college preparatory education and prepare students for their future.

Part-Time

Students may also take individual courses to either catch up or to supplement their regular high school program. Enrollment in one, two, or three courses at a time qualifies as part time. Students enrolled in KCPS on a part-time basis also receive college preparatory level curriculum; teaching support by assigned, certified teachers; and academic coaching.

Students may enroll in a part-time program anytime throughout the year. Prior to enrollment, we suggest that students consult with their primary high school to ensure their KCPS credits will transfer.
